We spent another weekend driving across the state, visiting family and friends:
1. We met our newest nephew, Adam. Michael's sister Kari had him two weeks ago and he is precious, with a head full of dark hair like his daddy. He is the last of another round of babies, three of which are boys. All the siblings and their children, Dan and baby Seth, Michael and baby Max, Kari and baby Adam (only Joe and little Evelyn were missing).
2. The kids and I drove to listen to my nephew report on his mission. That's hard to even believe (Nathan is only 6 1/2 years younger than me). He served his mission in Peru and it was amazing to see how much he has grown and changed over the past two years. He did a wonderful job and we are so happy that we made the trip.
3. My sister Michelle and I spent the night at my parents home. The kids had a ball playing together. Kathryn was her typical self and asked her cousins all sorts of questions. I think one of the most entertaining one of all was when she asked Lincoln, who is 12, if he'd just gone to the bathroom. He got a good laugh out of that one.
5. Grandma and Grandpa Woodland loving on Maxwell.
