Six Things

1.  I know I've mentioned it before, but Maxwell had his first birthday.  He smashed his cake and ate it like a champ.  And he loved squishing the frosting between his tiny, little fingers.

2.  We celebrated Pioneer Day in style, complete with a parade, rodeo, runaway pony and wagon and a western band.  Oh, I love this town!

3.  Kathryn had another healthy check-up at the dentist office.

4.  We have been so busy lately, and unfortunately naps have become minimal to nonexistent.  Maxwell was so tired one morning, he finally fell asleep in the swing.

5.  And he fell asleep in his bouncy seat while I was making dinner one night.  He kept shifting his head on the little keyboard, but he slept right through every song.

6.  Kathryn insisted on brushing my hair after getting out of the shower one day.  While brushing my hair very softly and gently, she informed me that she wanted to grow her hair out like Rapunzel's.
