Our baby made an early entrance into the world.
He was born at exactly 36 weeks.
Sadly, his lungs weren't quite ready to breath on their own,
Which earned him an unknown stay in the NICU.

For being so early he still is a pretty good size. Congratulations to you guys! Hoping that his lungs get nice and strong and that he gets to spend time with your amazing family (at home) soon. <3
Congrats Jen! Sorry about the lung issue - we went through that with our #3, Ethan. He was born at 36 weeks minus 1 day. He only had to stay 4 days after the surfactant and a bit of time on the cpap. Hopefully your little one will be home soon too! Lots of hugs and prayers your way! :)
