Ten on Thursday

1. I've never been a sink bather. I'm not really sure why...sanitary reasons maybe? But I gave it a try one afternoon, and Sam loved it. He cried and screamed when I took him out.

2. Kathryn and Maxwell love to play together. Oh my goodness their imaginations just crack me up- I love them so much. Here they are dressed in some of Sam's baby clothes.

3. First haircut for this little boy. He did pretty good as long as he had that bottle in his hands.

4. It was an absolutely beautiful evening, so Micheal pulled out his golf clubs and gave us some pointers.

5. I know I've said this about a million times, but this boy loves dirt. Or shall we say, this boy loves mud. He could happily spend all day playing in the mud. And what a silly boy too. I asked to take his picture and he immediately made this face.

6. My darling niece left on her mission a few weeks ago and we were able to go listen to her "farewell" talk. She did a lovely job and we are so proud and excited for her. She will be a wonderful missionary (along with another niece who is already out and another going soon). I am starting to feel old since I used to babysit her.

7. We stayed with my parents while on that trip. I found Kathryn coloring at my dad's desk early one morning. Brings back childhood memories...

8. We also had a chance to visit Michael's grandma before going to my niece's farewell. Unfortunately, we found out earlier this week that grandma was in the hospital with congestive heart failure. We decided to take a day trip to visit her. She is recovering and doing a little better though. And what an amazing (almost) 92 year old! We love that sweet lady.

9. The children entertained themselves most of the morning in their "clubhouse".

10. Soccer is still going. Only two more games. Kathryn's interest has started to wain a little bit, but I hope she will try again next year. It has been a fun adventure for our family. Her game was cancelled last weekend because of the weather, and she was pretty sad about it. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for the last two games.
