We ventured out with all of the children on our first family hike a while ago.
We want to do a lot of things this summer, so we figured we'd better whip those kids into shape.
Who am I kidding, it was really more for me than anyone else!!!
The weather was perfect and the length and terrain was just right for the kids.
There was a small amount of whining along the way, but well worth it.
The trail ended down in the canyon at a beautiful waterfall, which we all took turns going to see.
And then, we had ice cream and french fries for dinner. The perfect ending to a lovely day.
