August Part 2

We didn't take a big family vacation this summer (we had a surprise fall trip planned) but we wanted to do some fun things before Kathryn started school, so we decided to go to Utah for a few days.
We spent a day at Cherry Hill, which is next to Lagoon. It was a perfect place for our young kids!
Michael about died when I got stuck tubing for 10 minuets. I literally could not move.

We had a few things planned, but also enjoyed driving around and exploring.
We found a quiet lake, and let the kids get some energy out while we watched a group jet ski rocket.
It was pretty incredible to watch. I think Michael was wishing he could have joined in the fun.

We had fun walking around Union Station.

We ate a delicious meal at a German bakery while Michael reminisced about his mission.

We had a good laugh while driving past this on the interstate.
