December Part 1

1. Max goes to preschool three days a week. This was what I saw one morning while driving him to school.

2. I surprised Kathryn with a date to the Nutcracker again this year. We ended the night with some yummy frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf.

3. I am the primary chorister in our ward. It is one of the best callings, especially with my own children in there. We sang a couple of songs at our ward Christmas party.

4. Kathryn played fall basketball. It was the first year she could play, and we encouraged her to give it a try. Unfortunately it was an emotional roller coaster for her. We're hoping she will give it another try next year.

5. Usually by the time I think about having family pictures taken for the year, it is winter time. This year we found a spot on the side of a country road and set up my tripod. We did some test shots while the kids stayed warm in the car. We sent them in and out of the car and bribed them with candy since it was so darn cold. We had to get it done though, so we could send out Christmas cards.

6. Michael's work Christmas party.

7. Santa came to visit Max's preschool. He even brought everyone a nice early Christmas present.

8. Kathryn sang at Grandma's annual Christmas party. I was so proud of her.

9. We went to Michael's brother's home in Utah to celebrate the baby blessing of our newest little niece. She is an angel I tell.
