A beautiful Christmas day.
We actually woke Kathryn up Christmas morning.
We weren't sure how much time it would take to open presents, and we didn't want to be late to church.
She was very concerned about the "cookie evidence" Santa left behind. We told her he just couldn't eat another bite, he was too full. Maybe he'll change his mind next year, since it caused some much worry.
She was excited for the gits he left (a keyboard and an art easel), but she was also just as thrilled for the watermelon bubblegum in her stocking and her Fancy Nancy books. What a girl. She's easy to please.
Maxwell got some fun things too...some baby food, new shoes and socks and his favorite, a toy football.
Michael is training him early, even if the doctor says he will only be between 5'2" and 5'7" (Michael is 6'3").
My favorite presents: jewelry, church clothes and a new blender (among other things, I was spoiled this year).
Michael's favorite presents: a router, a grill cover and a new vehicle (more on that later...)
After opening presents, we headed to church (barely making it in time). It was a beautiful meeting.
There was beautiful music, and our bishop (who happens to be a real cowboy/rodeo-er) read a lovely poem that he wrote about the life of the Savior. We came home from church, changed back into our pajamas, had brunch, played and watched movies, and lounged around. It was a perfect day spent as a family.

Until next Christmas...
