Norm's

A good day starts at Norm's, our favorite little breakfast diner.
A good day is when the waitress remembers how I like my waffle.  We're becoming regulars after all.  Michael said my face was glowing when she remembered.
A good day is when Kathryn eats her entire pancake, without crawling out of the booth and onto the floor to play with her "little girl".  A good day is when I think to myself, "maybe we can take her out to eat with us after all.  She was so well behaved today".

A good day is listening to the conversations of the four older gentlemen sitting behind us.
It's hard not to eavesdrop on them because they talk about such interesting things.  Last time we were there, they discussed the String Theory.  On this day, they were talking about their i pads, cell phones, internet, newspapers, investments, retirement and business.  Both Michael and I really enjoyed listening to them.
And as we got up to leave, one of older gentlemen said to Michael, "You have such a beautiful family."
And I thought to myself, "that was so nice of him to say."
A good day is spending time with my family at Norm's.  Or anyplace in general.  But Norm's is good too.
