The Playhouse

We spent some time in Katheryn's playhouse the other morning.
We of course played house.  I was the mom, the grandma, the sister and the neighbor at various times.
Our babies played Ring around the Rosie together, followed up with a nice long (5 second) nap.
She told me all about her kids.  She had six, seven, eight...the number kept increasing.
And she had to pick them up from school.  Then she had to run errands, clean and cook dinner.
When Max woke up from his morning nap, he joined us in the house.
It started getting a little crowded in there with all those kids, but we were a big happy family (minus Michael).
He made the playhouse out of a Lazy-boy box for Kathryn over a year ago.  I still haven't painted the door.
It's always a favorite for all the kids who visit.  And it's held up remarkably well, all things considering.
I think it's on it's last leg though, so we're enjoying it while we can.  We'll miss the old house someday.
